I am Michael Chae and I am a residency-trained veterinary nutritionist.  During my time as a primary care veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital from 2018 to 2020, I recognized the critical importance of nutrition in managing various medical conditions, which inspired me to pursue specialized training in veterinary nutrition.
 

I completed my veterinary clinical nutrition residency at North Carolina State University from 2021 to 2024. During my residency, I gained extensive experience in performing detailed nutritional assessments, providing the most suitable commercial diet options, and formulating balanced homemade diets.
 

I am committed to providing individualized nutritional care that considers each pet's specific needs and medical conditions. My goal is to work collaboratively with pet owners and their veterinary teams to optimize their pets' health through evidence-based nutritional management.
 

I currently reside in Los Angeles with my wife and our cats Bong, Byul, and Bee.
